We walked the Coast to Coast, known as Wainwight's Way, between 24th August and 13th September, covering a total of 210 miles and 32,000 ft of ascent. It was a fabulous experience that we really enjoyed. This was helped by the weather being kind to us, with only one really awful wet wet wet day! These pictures are only an extract from the nearly 400 we took, but they do give a good feel for the countryside we walked through, and in our opinion show why the UK is such a great place....
